Written and produced entirely by 3rty, the track opens with a playful, cinematic courtship: Pidgin-laced admiration, the warmth of early attraction, promises of dedication. The song opens in Lagos street energy: a guy spotting a woman and throwing his best lines. The charm is undeniable, but she has heard it all before. She holds her ground, demanding consciousness and patience. The chorus arrives as a mutual plea: “If I give my all / Hold me up / Don’t let me down.”

The second half shifts. Insecurity creeps in on her side: a history of hurt, a face she saw somewhere, a room that raised questions. He pushes back, not with anger but with exhaustion: “Look me well before you accuse.” The track does not resolve neatly. It sits in the discomfort of two people trying to trust each other at different speeds.
