The collaboration with MC Rd and DJ Biel Bolado completes a rapid No. 3 → No. 2 → No. 1 climb, creating a new global discovery moment for the Nigerian artist.

“Godzilla (Phunk),” by Dice Ailes, MC Rd and DJ Biel Bolado, has reached No. 1 on Soundcharts’ Global TikTok Chart.

On the current dated ranking, the collaboration is the No. 1 most-used TikTok sound worldwide tracked by Soundcharts.

The rise has happened quickly. “Godzilla (Phunk)” ranked No. 3 on October 17, moved to No. 2 on October 19 and reached the top position on October 21.

The milestone arrives as Nigerian audiences have been revisiting Dice Ailes’ catalogue, fashion, visual identity and contribution to Afrobeats.

But the new story is no longer simply about nostalgia. Dice Ailes has gone No. 1 globally with a sound outside the musical lane most audiences first knew him for. The phonk collaboration adds a new dimension to a career defined by experimentation, individuality and an instinct to move differently.

“Seeing a different sound travel this far is special. I’ve always wanted the freedom to explore without losing who I am as an artist. Godzilla is another part of that journey.” — Dice Ailes
