Nigerian Afro-gospel artist Limoblaze has released a new eight-track tape titled Solid Ground, marking a bold new chapter in his sound and message.

Following the success of his previous project Young & Chosen, which encouraged listeners to “stand out,” Solid Ground arrives with a different charge: stand firm.

Predominantly a rap project, the tape leans deeper into Limoblaze’s hip-hop roots while maintaining the faith-centred storytelling that has defined his global rise. Across eight tracks, he delivers sharp verses, confident flows, and messages of conviction, reminding listeners what it looks like to stay grounded in faith regardless of the pressures around them. The heart of the project is ‘Cole Palmer’, a track about breaking barriers even when people think faith is a restriction.

In this era, Limoblaze has also embraced the alias “Omo Jesu”, a phrase that resonates strongly with the streets of Lagos while capturing the heart of his mission. The persona reflects a bridge between cultures: the grit and rhythm of the Nigerian streets meeting the rap-driven sound that has earned him a growing Western audience.

Solid Ground features a strong lineup of collaborators, including Jackie Hill Perry, Andy Mineo, DC3, Greatman Takit, IBQuake, Princeton South, and Elle Limebear, bringing together voices from across the global Christian music space.

Leading up to the release, Limoblaze unveiled a series of striking visuals that signal a clear artistic shift. The imagery surrounding the project introduces a fresh aesthetic: bold, cinematic and unapologetically rooted in the “Omo Jesu” identity, sparking excitement among fans online.
