Nigerian artist, A&R and Executive Producer Kiing LU is set to release his highly anticipated new single, “Get Up (Dance),” on September 18, 2026.

The record is a bold fusion of Drill and Fuji, bringing together the energy of contemporary Hip-Hop with the rich cultural identity of Nigerian music. The song features Nigerian pop princess Liya, Hip-Hop artist Bkay EastGaad, and talented Afro singer Nextee, who brings a strong Fuji influence to the record.

For Kiing LU, “Get Up (Dance)” is more than a genre experiment. It is a personal expression of his journey between the sounds that shaped him and his desire to explore what African Drill can become.

“I grew up listening to a lot of Nigerian indigenous music and I found my voice through Hip-Hop. I wanted to know what would happen if indigenous sounds met the sound I love. ‘Get Up (Dance)’ is my answer.”

With the record, Kiing LU continues his mission to push the creative boundaries of Drill music in Africa, demonstrating that the genre can evolve while remaining deeply connected to African identity and culture.
